Thursday, December 8

8:00 am to 3:30 pmBozeman Ice Climbing Festival On-Ice Clinics
Location: Gallatin National Forest, Hyalite Canyon. Climbing at Genesis I and Unnamed Wall
5:00 pm to 7:00 pmDemo Gear Check Out for Women-Only Ice Climbing Clinic
Location: Emerson Ballroom. 111 South Grand, on the corner of Grand & Babcock, one block off Main St.
Ice climber appetizer specials and cash bar provided by the Emerson Grill and Emerson Grill North
7:30 pm to 9:00 pmEvenings slide shows and films with Special Guests to be announced.
Special guest Doug Chabot, Director of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center will discuss Hyalite, ice climbing and avalanches. Thursday shows are $5 at the door and free to on-ice clinic participants.

Friday, December 9

7:30 amMeet at the Blackmore Day Use Parking Lot at the Hyalite Reservoir to car pool the last few miles up to Hyalite Canyon. Must leave Blackmore by no later than 7:40 SHARP! This means leaving downtown Bozeman no later than 7:00 am.
8:00 am to 3:30 pmBozeman Ice Climbing Festival Women-Only On-Ice Clinics
Location: Gallatin National Forest, Hyalite Canyon. Climbing at Genesis I and Genesis II.

7:30 pm till 10:00 pmThe Legendary Bozeman Ice Festival Wrap Party
Gear raffle to support road plowing in Hyalite Canyon. Tons of prizes and hanging with like-minded ice fiends.
Location: Emerson Cultural Center Ballroom. The Emerson Grill will serve their spectacular spaghetti and meatballs. $15 in advance at the door or from Festival staff anytime over the weekend.
