Make the Most of a Weekend Visit
Friday Night
Settle into your accommodations and check out one of the wide variety of dining options around the Bozeman area. For after-dinner drinks, check out any of Bozeman’s craft cocktail destinations, many of which can be found on Main Street.
If you’re interested in the live music scene, check out the Haufbrau House, The Filling Station, or The Eagles Club. Or, if you prefer a more relaxing evening, head over to the Bozeman Hot Springs for a soak.
Saturday Night
Visit Yellowstone for the day via the North entrance in Gardiner, Montana. Do some wildlife watching in the Lamar Valley, and keep an eye out for the elusive wolf packs! If you prefer some activity, bring along snowshoes for an intimate view of the park.
After a day exploring Yellowstone, head back to your basecamp in Bozeman and sample some of Bozeman’s best international cuisine. There’s nothing like a bowl of ramen to warm you up after a long day in the snow.
Sunday Night
Start your day off with brunch at any of these Bozeman staples. Follow it up with some culture at one of Bozeman’s museums. The Museum of the Rockies has a vast collection of dinosaurs and a planetarium along with rotating seasonal exhibits.
Before you hit the road, be sure to do some souvenir shopping to commemorate your visit to big sky country. Downtown Bozeman has a wide variety of shops, from funky to refined merchandise for every taste level.
